Who am I--and what are my qualifications for writing a blog on writing?
I'm Daniel Koontz, and I'm the author of the blog Casual Kitchen. Over the past two decades I've worked as a Wall Street analyst, a reporter and as a freelance writer.
I've been giving writing tips and advice to friends and associates for years, but I've always wanted to offer writing insights to a wider audience. Quick Writing Tips is the result of my efforts to do so.
The posts here are extremely brief, most under 200 words. They give advice for any and all writing situations. Whether you're a blogger, an aspiring author, a novelist or even a student working on a term paper, I hope you will find this site useful.
