Write, Exercise, Write

Another productivity enhancement idea: After your morning writing session, head outside for a 30-minute run, or head over to the gym for a workout.

Or consider some other exercise options, like a 30-minute session of yoga or a brisk walk with some stretching before and after.

You'll discover two benefits:

1) The exercise completely clears your mind. You'll be fresh and ready to go for a second writing session immediately afterward. It's like getting two productive writing sessions for the price of one.

2) When you're out running or walking there's nothing for your brain to do but calm itself and think. That's why all sorts of ideas and creative thoughts percolate in your mind during your workout. And you can take these ideas and run with them in your second writing session.
